Merry Christmas friends and family!
Fallen Penny are going on an open ended hiatus due to some interesting events that would make for great stories down the pub - unfortunately there's not enough room here. It doesn't mean we're giving up the ghost and we'd very much like for you to keep browsing the site and spacing out to our tunes, both here and on Myspace. So far it's been a blast, and thanks ever so much to everyone who has encouraged and heckled us and our 23 songs since our birth in April 2004. we'll see you on a stage in the future - keep in touch!

27/09/2007 The next round of BODOG BATTLE OF THE BANDS! Of course they liked us - who wouldn't? Monday 19th November in the Prime Club in Cologne. See you there 7pm sharp.

5/07/2007 FILM FESTIVAL open air show on the 11th July Wasserturm im Stahlwerk Becker in Willich goes ahead - we will play at about 20:00. See U at the show!
1/07/2007 PeoplesClub Bar gig is cancelled on 12.07.2007 because the authorities (Ordnungsamt) don't like loud music. We'll reschedule as soon as we can.

13/06/2007 We're almost finished recording what will be the next album! Tentatively entitled "Cities on the Run", it's going to include the 4 songs you know
and love from this website and myspace, plus others you'll have heard at our live shows this year - including the title track, an 11 minute Opus which will blow your senses!
